Aurélie Webb is a British composer based in LA and the UK. Her eclectic yet accessible work draws from a wide spectrum of influences, from bold American minimalism to the timeless sounds of Ralph Vaughan Williams, with nods to Radiohead and David Bowie. Webb has worked with filmmakers and artists from around the world, expanding into animation, documentaries, audio dramas and experimental dance. Her work includes the 2023 Netflix docuseries Heart of Invictus – where she contributed additional music alongside Emmy-nominated composer Patrick Jonsson – and the hit 2022 podcast What Happened in Skinner, nominated for Best Indie Podcast at The Ambies. In 2022, the documentary Here to Stay, with an original score by Webb, won a Student Academy Award and a silver medal at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. She was also honoured with a nomination for Best Original Score at the 2023 Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival for her work on the short film Mars Falling. Alongside her composing career, Webb is growing a reputation as a sought-after music editor, collaborating with Emmy-nominated editor Steve Griffen on acclaimed television series like What We Do in the Shadows, Disenchantment and more for Hulu, FX and Netflix. She recently completed music editorial and additional music work for a major Disney Nature double-feature slated for release in 2025.
